Spark Travel programs, organized and lead by members of Educational Praxis, are ramping up their efforts to connect students, educators, and activists in different learning communities with each other. WE-learn had a successful summer where five students from Keene State College and several teachers from New Hampshire and Vermont visited, worked, and developed curriculum at Bapagrama School in Bangalore, India.
We have made strong connections to schools and communities in many parts of the world and offer trips and exchanges to places such as the Philippines, Indonesia, Uganda, East Timor, Tanzania, and South Africa.
We are continuing to reach out to many colleges and universities in the Vermont/ Massachusetts/New Hampshire area to form relationships with the students and staff and continue to build connections. WE-learn will be attending study abroad fairs, tabling at local events, and distributing information to study abroad and travel offices in New England area schools. Look out for events in your area!
